OTG’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

If you happen to be traveling through an airport and find yourself at a modern restaurant ordering from a locally sourced menu on an iPad, chances are you have OTG to thank. This forward-thinking company has been taking airport dining to the next level for 20 years, and is now a nationwide industry leader, a milestone worthy of a mega celebration. The best part? OTG was born in our beloved Philly, a town that definitely knows how to throw a party, so it was no surprise that the company chose to celebrate here. The JPG Photography team was thrilled to be asked to capture all of the moments of OTG’s 20th Anniversary Celebration at LoewsThe Fillmore, and the PACC.

Hundreds of OTG employees were treated like guests of honor and enjoyed absolute decadence at the event which transpired over 2 days and 3 venues. At the Convention Center, an Iron Chef and Bartending competition wowed the audience with delectable award-winning drinks and cuisine. Dozens of vendors shared samples and information for various healthy, environmentally-conscious products. At the Loews Hotel, several OTG presenters discussed business ideas and innovations, and focused on the teamwork of the company which has been pivotal in their success. Finally, the grand finale took place at The Fillmore, where 1,000 guests were treated to a surf and turf dinner provided by Cescaphe Events, along with a kick-ass performance by the infamous Philly-based band The Roots. The OTG staff were absolutely wonderful to work with every step of the way, knew exactly how to execute the celebration, and proved that in their company, people come first.

They also proved that coverage of the event was of the utmost importance. The event required a photo and video team who could focus on the moments and thrive even without the use of flash. JPG managed a team of 3 photographers and 4 videographers, and navigated multiple complex lighting scenarios. As photojournalism is our forte, we pride ourselves on being able to document unfolding events without being intrusive, and ensure that the job is done right no matter the obstacles.

The OTG family is exemplary of a work hard, play hard mindset that we admire. We look forward to seeing what ground you will break next, and what new treats and amenities we will find in the airport during our future travels. From our staff to yours, Happy Anniversary and all the best for the next 20 years!

Best, Joe
