Choose JPG to avoid Dating Disaster!

We at JPG are accustomed to photographing people’s happy endings—whether that be proposing to the person they choose to spend the rest of their life with, on their wedding day or in their living rooms with their growing families. But how do those smiling people, sometimes ridiculously happy people get there? Increasingly, they are turning to the web to find love.

Since eHarmony’s launch in 2000, more and more people turn to the Internet, and today, nearly 41 million people search for love online. So what makes for a successful dating profile? Experts say the very first impression, or the photo attached, is the most important factor to getting to the next step of an in-person date. In a recent article by Terri Akman for the Philly Inquirer, it was revealed than nearly 20% of all of eHarmony customers seek out professional photographers for their dating profiles. And those who used professional photos reported greater responsiveness to their profile.

JPG is accustomed to taking headshots for professional endeavors as well as portraits for public and private events. If you are seeking a photographer for your dating profile, we would be happy to work with you to make sure you are putting the best face forward. Just don’t forget us when it comes time to choose a photographer for your wedding day.

Best,

Stacey
