PHLDiversity Luncheon Sneak Peek

Philadelphia’s downtown Marriott is hosting PHLDiversity’s annual luncheon on October 9th. To prepare for the luncheon, PHLDiversity is throwing three sneak peeks to increase awareness about Philly’s multicultural businesses and city. They invited us to document their first sneak peek a few weeks ago on July 28th.

We were excited to be part of the preview party and parked near the Reading Terminal Market.  Luckily, as a frequent shopper of the RTM, I knew I could get my parking at a discounted rate if I purchased something at the terminal so I went to my favorite tortilla place (12th Street Cantina) and got 2 packs for my family, got my ticket validated and got $20 off our parking! #tricksofthetrade

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce provided us with tapas and mojitos from the Marriott that were sensational. My fav was the raspberry mojito!  The girl is talented, holding a drink in one hand AND my camera at the ready  in the other . That’s what you want out of a PHLCVB member, right? JPG is proud to support a diverse community of businesses and organizations with such fun ideas and outgoing people. From Telemundo broadcaster Ramon Zayas to Deputy Mayor, Rich Negrin, we loved meeting new people and capturing the times they had together.

I met Gregory DeShields at a networking event for the Independence Business Alliance — an LGBTQ business association — and we hit it off immediately! He told me about the luncheon they were having and I knew I had to be a part of it!

The next sneak peek is August 28th at the Westin, which he also asked to come back for. We are so happy that PHLDiversity loved our work, and how we captured important moments differently than the normal corporate event. The story of the night unfolded in front of them, and it was great to be a part of it. Anything that brings out the city’s diversity and unites people together through their businesses and passions is something JPG wants to be a part of.

At the end of the night we left with Carlos Ruiz bobble heads for everyone in the office, PHL water bottles and  pins!

We are so happy to be connected with PHLDiversity and look forward to having a long term relationship with the PHLCVB.

Best,

Stacey and Gustavo
