Simons Soirée at the Sheraton Valley Forge in KOP

There is nothing more important than preserving the chance for someone to sustain a happy-healthy childhood. JPG Photography is passionate about providing our services to non-profit organizations like Simon’s Fund with caring individuals who only want to ensure children have full and bright futures. We were honored to document Simons Soirée at the Sheraton Valley Forge, in King of Prussia, PA.

Simons fund was founded nearly a decade ago to raise awareness for undiagnosed heart defects that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in children. This organization is sending medical professionals into schools to provide check ups so that one out of every 100 children who have a potentially deadly defect receives the diagnosis he and she need to stay alive. Under the leadership of Darren and Phyllis Sudman, Simon’s Fund (founded after their son, Simon, who died in 2005) has screened more than 8,000 hearts and has saved dozens of lives. JPG was honored to be asked to document their annual gala where more than 400 benefactors came out to support their efforts and to ensure their good work continues to grow.

Master of Ceremonies, Michael Barkann from WIP’s MIke and Ike Show and Comcast SportsNet, kept the evening running smoothly with silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing and celebration. Journalist and Sports Illustrated author David Epstein was presented with the Protect this Heart Award.

This evening was an eye opening experience for us and we hope to be back to continue to help in their efforts to combat these undiagnosed medical conditions. Thank you Simon’s Fund for the opportunity.
