Come See JPG at First Friday in Old City!

Join JPG Photography for First Friday at Old City. Our good friends from East River Bank asked us to use their walls to showcase a wide range of photographs by the JPG team from their personal collection.  This diverse set of images includes landscapes, cityscapes, alternative processes, and other photographic work that was chronicled along the way by our photographers.  Photographers to be included in the exhibit are: Joe Gidjunis, Ashlee Kulp, Grace Dickinson, Adam Nettleton, Danette Pascarella, Dave Christenson, Gustavo Garcia, Dave Tavoni, Kate Miller, Leah Gallo, Laura Hoffman, Matt Bender, Tara Robinson, and myself  included (As the self-titled official JPG “instagramographer”, I will be showcasing an instillation of my instagrams!).

Thank you Gustavo for helping to curate and install this exhibit. In addition to his camera skills he has experience putting together and installing exhibitions. How lucky we are to have him and all of his skillfulness!

As someone who’s been going to First Fridays since 1999 it is unreal to be featured in a show. Every month my family looks forward to spending the day in Old City perusing the galleries and sampling some tasty treats. My daughter’s  first First Friday was when she was three months old. Now 10 years old, she analyzes art with a careful eye that is wise beyond her years, and chooses her favorite pieces. My son serves as our culinary tour guide, as he knows which galleries have the best food. In a nutshell, it’s a blast.

We are honored to be a part of First Friday and hope to give back even a fraction of the love that East River Bank has shown us, by sharing our art with all of you! The JPG family hopes to see you and yours in Old City this Friday!

Much Love,
