Amber & John’s NYC Engagement

Before shooting Amber and John’s wedding, we did an engagement session with them in New York City. We began in Central Park, re-tracing the steps of one of the couple’s very first dates together. We love when couples do this with us on their engagement shoots, because it’s touching to feel the spark where it all began.

It was late in the fall, but the trees still had leaves and the colors were unbelievable. Although the park was crowded, we managed to find a few spots to give Amber and John some intimacy in the Big Apple.

After the park, we headed to one of Amber and John’s favorite Italian restaurants, and then to Times Square for a wild motion shot of the couple standing still against the rush and bustle of the city. I think that’s one all New Yorker City dwellers need to get in their lifetime.

We finished off the day by having the couple grab some food from a street vendor and just go play! It seemed like something no respectable New Yorker would do on their own, but would happily do with a photographer in tow. And happy they were!

Amber and John, thanks for choosing JPG to document your engagement and, of course, your fabulous New Jersey and Philly wedding!
