Aubrey and Eric’s Trash the Dress Video!

Nearly a year ago (forever, it seems!), I shot Aubrey and Eric’s Philly wedding at Tendenza in Northern Liberties. Months earlier, while shooting their autumn engagement session, we realized we were forming a relationship with this fantastic couple that would last for years to come.

I’ve since had the pleasure of a “Trash the Dress” photoshoot with Aubrey and Eric last August. For most brides, the wedding dress is a dress you’ll wear once and then maybe hang in the closet and admire every now and then. So why not have an opportunity to wear it a second time, and have some fun with it? Aubrey and Eric trashed Aubrey’s dress near some old train tracks in a whirlwind of colors using Indian colored powders for Holi, the Hindu festival of colors.

While they threw the colors at each other amidst laughter and shrieks, our own photographer Eric was video recording them and I was snapping away. Eric used the footage to make this fabulous Trash the Dress video! We’re proud to present Aubrey and Eric’s TTD shoot, complete with a Philadelphia fountain swim!

We love the opportunity to do fun shoots like this, and if any of our couples are interested, we’re always up for the challenge!
