Cori & Jeff at Down Town Club, Philly

We love our clients at JPG, especially the ones that are willing to brave the elements to get some great shots. The rain didn’t spoil Cori and Jeff’s wedding at the newly renovated Down Town Club on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.

Jeff and his groomsmen got ready at the Alexander Inn while Cori was at Hotel Monaco. Jeff brought his groomsmen flasks with little funnels as gifts. He wore cufflinks that had been handed down through his family.

We shot the couple’s first look in front of First Bank at 4th and Walnut, then we popped over to Rittenhouse Square to photograph the bridal party. No one was bothered by the rain when it started to fall. When it came down harder on our way back to the trolley, a passerby gave Cori a bright green umbrella to keep her from getting soaked. Cori and Jeff were more than willing to get back out in the rain to get some shots at City Hall on the way to their venue. Recently renovated by Cescaphe Event Group, The Down Town Club now has a newer, more modern feel.

Cori and Jeff each wrote their own vows for their ceremony and it was touching to see them get so emotional. They shared some laughs between the happy tears. Watching them dance with their parents at the reception was sweet; Cori’s dad got a little choked up during his dance with his little girl.

Cori and Jeff, thank you for choosing us at JPG for your special day. We wish you the best of luck and endless happiness in your lives together.
