Nervous energy is completely understandable for a couple to have leading up to their big day. One of the coolest things for JPG to capture is a bride and groom’s nerves melting away the minute they set eyes on each other. This kind of love was present at Dana and Darin’s wedding at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ.
The couple started the day by getting ready at the Wyndham, Mount Laurel. Before the ceremony started, they took part in a Ketubah signing, a Jewish tradition, which they performed through a divider so as to not see each other before the walk down the aisle. It was sweet that they were able to interact with each other without peaking before their ceremony.
Sweet Harmony played the accompaniment as Dana made her way to Darin. Seeing her set eyes on him for the first time was emotional. It wasn’t until she was next to him, holding his hand, that Dana was completely at ease. When Dana and Darin were pronounced husband and wife, Dana was so excited that she started jumping up and down.
The food after the wedding was, in a word, insane! Cocktail hour was complete with six stations: sushi, mashed potato and raw bars, and Italian, pasta and Pan-Asian stations. Butlers were also circulating with appetizers. And that was only the beginning. A four-course meal was served, which included cream of mushroom soup, Greek salad, lemon sorbet intermezzo, and a choice of chateaubriand, chicken balsamic, or crab-topped scallops.
…Still, that is just the beginning. Dinner was followed by an assortment of desserts, including crepes, cheesecakes, rootbeer floats, milkshakes, Belgian waffles and ice cream…I could go on. The wedding cake was beautiful, a vanilla butter cake with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream.
The Meg Hanson Group kept the party going late into the night. The band had some great soul singers out on the dance floor to keep the guests pumped and entertained.
Looking back on the day, Dana and Darin were baffled by how quickly it went! Thank you to you both for choosing JPG and letting us be a part of your day. We hope the happiness and excitement of your wedding day follows you for the rest of your lives together.
