Kellie and Bob’s wedding stands out as a dazzling New Year’s Eve party! The excitement of their marriage mixed with the champagne and festive feel in the air as the clock chimed closer to midnight. Kellie’s dress had a long train and intricate embroideries along the veil. Their pup even found it quite cozy, as she laid on the train while Kellie was getting ready!
The wedding took place at the ornate St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media. The church was packed with their closest family and friends, which calmed Kellie’s nerves before she had to walk down the aisle.
As the reception was in Philly it was great to try a new venue — the Franklin Institute! I had been there before for exhibits but to photograph it during a NYE wedding was spectacular. The Institute is very special to the family as Bob’s grandfather actually designed the pendulum there! The hall they danced in was immaculate and the stone architecture was a gorgeous backdrop. Once the clock struck midnight the party erupted into sparkly hats, heart-shaped confetti, and New Year wishes for the newly weds.
I am so glad I was able to spend my New Year’s Eve with you both!
