Mariann & Ryan Married at the Horticulture Center in Philly

What do you get when you have a group of dudes singing like pop star divas, mixed in with a beautiful outdoor wedding, and a touch of kickin’ and punchin’ dance moves? Well, you get one of the wildest and most fun weddings of the season! Mariann and Ryan took advantage of the end of summer by throwing an outdoor wedding at the Horticulture Center in Philadelphia, and they had a heck of a time celebrating with the ones they love.

When Ryan and the boys were getting ready, their true colors shone through as they belted out the high notes of Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen. This is a perfect example of how Ryan can be silly and uninhibited! After they got ready, the guys went on a quest to find another bottle of Maker’s Mark (since they love their bourbon), and made their way to the Horticulture Center.

At JPG Photography, we try to focus on the little details of the day, because the small, fleeting moments are beautiful and unique to each person. One of the first things I noticed, when Mariann was graciously making her way down the aisle, was when Ryan started to tear up at the sight of her. He was overcome with love, just as much as she was, and they truly lived in the moment like this all day.

At the end of the ceremony, we quickly took some group photos outside (since the sun was setting). Just like the ceremony, the reception was also held at the Horticulture Center, which we at JPG were excited to return to after Annie and Abby’s. Guests were surrounded by the quaint, yet breathtaking, greenery inside a cool greenhouse-style dining area. This was one of those receptions that was extremely active, because people were consistently breaking down their best moves on the dance floor!

There was a song played at the end of the night where people laid back on the dance floor and shot their arms and legs around crazily! And, after Ryan fed the first piece of wedding cake to Mariann, he went in to give her a second piece…and fed it to her brother instead! It was a pretty fun and funny night, so you’ll have to trust me when I say “you had to be there.”

Congratulations to Mariann and Ryan on their beautiful wedding day. We hope your life is as silly and stress-free as your wedding day was!

Best,
Tracie
