Can you say “wow?” Everything about Meg and Missy’s wedding day was absolutely stunning—from Missy’s face when she saw Meg for the first time on the day, to Meg’s dress straight out of a Dior ad. Both women were beautiful on the day of their wedding, and when Meg put on her gold wedding dress everyone agreed that she looked like Charlize Theron as spokeswoman for j’Adore Dior.
Meg and Missy had their first look on the beautiful second floor of the Berkley Oceanfront Hotel and we were able to capture some of the hotel’s incredible early 20th century architecture in the process. The weather outside was horrible, but despite the downpour, the couple trusted me enough to venture outdoors to the Asbury Park Boardwalk for a few shots in the rain. It paid with fabulous and funny portraits using the old-fashioned décor.
At the reception, we had a blast filming their crazy, animated families and loved watching Meg and Missy interact with their fathers. Missy became emotional during her father-daughter dance and the tears continued to flow into Meg’s Father’s Musical tribute to his daughter on the trumpet.
Meg and Missy, it was such a pleasure getting to know you, we hope to meet again as your lives flourish with one another
