Amanda and Rob’s Wedding at the Mount Laurel Westin

There are few things cooler than a fireman! We travelled to Mount Laurel, NJ for fireman Robert and the beautiful Amanda’s wedding. Thank you Dawn (Amanda’s sister) for helping us and facilitating the day. She  works for Cescaphe Event Group who is Philadelphia’s Premier Wedding Brand and her experience came in handy throughout the day. Not a bad connection to have!

Amanda and Rob got married at The Westin and for their photos we explored numerous options of architecture, lighting, and outdoor scenes. Mixed with the adventurous newlyweds we turned the elevator into an impromptu studio where every time we opened the door to get the shot right, we got some surprises.

Robert brought his gear and we were able to line up his boots with Amanda’s fancy heels. We also used his jacket, pants, and helmet for portraits that were beautiful as his passion and hard work fit into the glamour of their wedding day.

For the ceremony Amanda surprised Robert with live bagpipe music. It was a nice detail that guests enjoyed.  The ring-bearer’s couldn’t make it down the aisle and ran away crying, but luckily, we still got the rings! And then everyone grew emotional as Amanda was escorted down the aisle by her beautiful mother. Their connection was strong and full of love. Later, they even shared a mother-daughter dance that had everyone coming onto the dance floor.

Amanda and Rob had fun during their wedding day, and definitely enjoyed their reception — especially the first bite of their cake! Their friends aided in the celebration and Robert’s groomsmen were a rowdy bunch.

All in all, this was a fantastic wedding that we were happy to be a part of. Congratulations to you both.

Best wishes,

Tom and Gustavo
