For a while there, I couldn’t tell if we moved to Manayunk or the Arctic. With the temperature finally rising above the freezing mercury, our clients were excited to get outside. In one weekend we had five events spanning NYC, Philly, and DC which included acting headshots, three engagements, and the HRC’s annual gala! That many shoots in such a short period of time tells me that spring is here and its time to stop hibernating.
Jumping around- we shot in, Downtown Philadelphia, the Philly Navy Yard and Frankford Hall. We found ourselves in New York City’s Washington Square Park, Grand Central Station, at the NYC High Line, and in the NYC Subway, as well as in the Chelsea and Soho neighborhoods.
Also on the list of exciting things, I finally met JPG bride Lesleigh, who looked stunning and was so much fun to work with! Lesleigh, and her fiance Jared, created a different dynamic than the typical engagement shoot, as she is hearing impaired. She reminded me how important creating clear and uncontradictory hand gestures can be! (Sorry for my terrible sign language!)
These shoots were in incredible start to what I know will be a great season! Let’s go 2014!
