Vanessa and John’s Royal Wedding at Stokesay Castle
At JPG we get excited about venues that inspire our imaginations. When we learned that Vanessa and John were to be married at Stokesay Castle in Reading Pennsylvania; anticipation for adventure mounted. Stokesay is among some of the historical icons of Reading, Pennsylvania. Modeled after the original thirteenth century Stokesay Castle in England, the re-creation boasts all of the positives of medieval architecture including a tall bastion that overlooking the grounds surrounded by lush forest.
The couple shared a beautiful first look near the wedding trellis. Capturing portraits on a tour of the grounds was great, but I knew that I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I got my couple up in that Bastion. Vanessa and John trusted me ventured to the tower for a kiss of royal caliber.
In an intimate ceremony bridesmaids carried regal red rose bouquets. An adorable flower girl laid the ground with pedals for Vanessa’s entrance. When father walked her down the aisle and began to cry as he embraced her. Vanessa got the better of John during the cake cutting, too.
Vanessa and John it was our pleasure to document your modern wedding with a medieval twist. We wish you the greatest happiness in your lives together.
Best,
Joe G
